The Pickens Chamber Board of Directors voted Pickens Federal Credit
Union as Member of the Month for May 2007. With a valued history in the
Pickens community, the Pickens FCU recently celebrated the opening of
the new office at 2111 Gentry Memorial Hwy. in Pickens.
The Pickens Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1961 to serve the
employees and families of the Singer Company then Ryobi and OWT
Industries. In 2001, the Credit Union acquired a community charter
allowing them to serve all who live, work, worship or attend school in
Pickens County.
Pickens FCU is a full service financial institution owned by its 2,100
members. The new facility offers drive-through service, on-site ATM
access and room for growth to better serve its growing base of members.
