The official azalea flower this year was design by Kendall Spearman, an 11th grade student at Pickens High School.  Winner of the 2008 Azalea Festival Art Contest, Miss Spearman's design is used in publicity of the azalea festival which include billboards, TV, and official Azalea Festival T-shirt.
